Braden Rasmussen Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 19, 2011.
Rasmussen, Braden Jerome Was born on May 9, 1990 and his life ended on July 16, 2011. He attended the Lakeville School system and graduated from Alliance Academy in Burnsville in 2008. After graduation, Brady explored many avenues that sparked his insatiable curiosity; living on both coasts before coming back home to his loving family and close friends. Brady put those close to him before himself and loved with his whole heart. He was empathic, sensitive, intelligent and a whole lot of fun to be around. Brady was preceded in death by Larry West (grandfather), Terry Andersen (grandmother) and Nathan Rasmussen (cousin). He leaves behind his mother (Pat), father (Todd), step-mother (Julie), 3 brothers (Ben (Franki), Bodine & Jakob), 2 sisters (Bailee & Rylie), grandparents (Marlene, Jerry and Sharyn, & Wayne), great grandmother (Stacy), many wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew (Dominic) and special friend Amy Peterson. Brady, our hearts are broken but we love you with everything we have and will miss you more than you could ever know. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 20th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Family of Christ Church Lutheran Church, 10970 185th Street West, Lakeville, MN 55044; Memorial Service at Family of Christ from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm followed by a fellowship luncheon.

Of the few i knew and bothered to speak to in school, Brady was one who understood. He knew where this world was heading, and what it would take to get there. He didn't play the game, he refused to bow down, Brady opened my eyes to the untraveled road and for that he will be missed.

To all the family he has left behind my prayers are with you
