Chuck Webb was a friend mine. I knew him for over 40 years. He had a charismatic charm and confidence about him that people loved. When he was a bartender at Gregory's in Bloomington, we would watch NFL and MLB games together. He was always an optimistic person. The last time I spoke to him was about a year ago. I was trying to help another buddy find an old class mate. I called Chuckie because he knew the person I was trying to reach. We talked and talked about the old times---you know, the good old days. We both promised we would get together real soon. Unfortunately, we never did. I am saddened by that. God's richest blessings for my friend, Chuck. He was a great guy!!!

Dear Webb Family,
Chuck Webb - what a character! What a great guy! After my brother Mike died, Chuck sent roses to my mom for Mother's Day the next year. It meant so much to her! His thoughtfulness was remarkable.
You have my deepest sympathy.

If there is one thing that can be said about Carlton is that he was the true definition of a friend; he would give you the shirt off his back only because he dressed in "layers" and we always knew there was another underneath. Having a conversation with Chuckie was like talking to "Richochet Rabbit" because the topics changed so rapidly and you had to really pay attention. Growing up with Chuck was an adventure all in itself and I bid a fond farewell to you "Fast Eddie".

While thinking of Chuck and all the stories he left with us one thought always came true. He was a caregiver. Most will remember Carlton by the Humor he always brought to us. He was one of a kind in personality and friendships and will truly be missed.

Carleton James Webb, just the name brings a smile to your face. Those of us who were fortunate enough to know Chuck, all witnessed his greatest gifts: Compassion, Love of Family, and most of all, Humor.
Carleton lived his life full and fast. He is in heaven now, surrounded by all the people he loved and cared for on this earth.
He was the best man in our wedding, and left us with many wonderful memories.
We will all miss him, but when we think of him, it will be with a smile.
Our deepest sympathy,
David & Susan Wollan
