Kathy, Dale, Sue and extended family,

We know what a difficult time it is for all of you and wanted to send our love and prayers. Cancer takes so many wonderful people out of our lives! May knowing that he is at peace with our Lord be a comfort to all of you now!

The booming laugh that came from Dale could be heard all over the old offices in the 'main'. You just knew when he was on shift. I only knew this part of his life, but I would guess his family was what meant the most. Kathy lost a great partner; Dale's children lost a great dad; the rest of us lost a friend... Fay (DCSO)

Dear Kathy,

I was saddened to hear that Dale had passed away. He waged such a courageous battle for so long. I'm sure your support gave him the needed strength.

I am proud to have worked with you both. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Dales' entire family.

Dear Debby, Lori and Duncan,

I am sorry to hear of your Father's passing and would like to send you and your family my heartfelt condolences. May your memories of love shared, comfort you now and in the days ahead.

THE ROSE still grows
beyond the Wall

Near shady wall a rose once grew, Budded and blossomed God's free light.
Watered and fed by morning dew, Shedding its sweetness day and night.

As it grew and blossomed fair and tall Slowly rising to loftier height, It came to a crevice in the wall, Through which there shone a beam of light.

Onward it crept with added strength, With never a thought of fear or pride it followed the light through the crevice-length, And unfolded itself on the other side.

The light, the dew, the broadening view, Were found the same as they were before; And it lost itself in beauties new, Breathing its fragance more and more.

Shall claim of death cause us to grieve, And make our courage faint or fall? Nay, let us faith and hope receive-The Rose still grows beyond the wall...

Scattering fragrance far and wide, just as it did in days of yore, Just as it did on the orther side, Just as it will forevermore.

With sorrow and sympathy,
Your first cousin,
Joyce (Monroe),Rauscher

Kathy,
I can still see Dale standing in the Sergeants office, smiling and looking perfect as always. And, of course practicing his golf swing.
That is how I will always remember him.
