Weisskopf, Howard H. age 89, passed away Sept. 26, 2011. Preceded in death by parents Esther & Lester Weisskopf and sister Marilyn Tritter. Survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Gloria; daughters, Melanie Weisskopf (Stuart Slonin), Paula Tankenoff (Jim), Debbie Finn (Michael); grandchildren, Abby & Santi, Michael, Erin & Eric, Andy & Libby and Jodi Finn; great-grandchildren, Janie, Max and David. He served in the U.S. Army in Arizona where he met and married his wife Gloria. Howard was the founder of Mpls Ragstock. in 1954 , retiring in 2007. He was past president of Oakridge C C, past board member of Temple Israel. Howard was known for his kindness and caring for others, always a gentleman. He had many passions in life, among them, his love for traveling the world, and sharing his adventures, fishing trips with his friends and grandchildren, and a good gin game in the afternoon. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. Funeral service 1 PM SUNDAY, Oct. 2, 2011, at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324 Emerson Ave. So., Mpls.
