Moore, Jack I. age 89, of New Brighton, MN, formerly Mpls, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 19, 2012. Preceded in death by his son, Jay, grandson, Matthew and brother, Robert. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Emily L.; loving children, Mary Moore (Jim); Linda Healy (Vern); Penny Moore; Rob (Ann); Terry (Anne); Mickey Moore (Paul Williams); Sharon Hernandez (Sergio); Julie Desmond (John); Chris (Ellen); and Brian (Shawna); 31 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; his brother, William Moore; and sister, Pat Scattarella (Troy); sister-in-law, Irene Moore; nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends. Edison HS graduate class of '39. Decorated WWII Veteran, Bombardier serving in the Army Air Corps. 2004 Inductee of Minnesota Broacasters' Hall of Fame. Recipient of Ron Self Award for outstanding lifetime contributions to MN golf. Past president of the Minnesota Public Golf Assoc. Visitation Wednesday, Dec. 26 starting at 5 PM with prayer service 7:30 PM at Billman Hunt Chapel, 2701 Central Ave NE, Mpls.
