To Kelly's loved ones:
I am so sorry for your loss. Kelly and I were classmates at MSU and co-taught as a team at two different locations in the Metro area. She had the most beautiful smile and attitude. I am greatly saddened by the news of her much too early passing. My thoughts are with you.

Kelly,
I will never forget the immediate friendship you and I had the day we both started our jobs as Site Supervisors together. Your time was too short but it was filled with great memories that I will carry with me forever. You had such a loving and caring personality and would invite anyone into your family and make them feel welcome. Kelly, thank you for your friendship, your shoulder to cry on, your smile that would cheer anyone up, and the hours we spent laughing and goofing around at school together and hanging out "with the girls". I love you!

John, you are remarkable, just like Kelly. My thoughts are with you!

Gone, Yet never forgotten.

The caring prayers, the shaking shock -
This awful news my world did rock.
No one knew how it happened or why.
We were all so sad; it made me cry.
How unfair it should have happened now -
Won't someone ever tell me how?
Her tears had dried, her pain had healed;
And God chose this time for her life to yield.
It's later now, while we've moved on -
We miss her as though she had just gone.
We'll never forget all the good she did,
Even though, to her our farewells we've bid.
We love her still, we miss her yet;
And on this I'll forever bet.
If she is truly in our hearts,
>From us she'll never be truly apart

Nafus and Brady Families,

We are so sorry for your loss. Kelly was always such a happy person. It is hard to beleive that she is no longer with us. We just know that she is up in heaven looking down on us all. We all gained an angel to watch over us when she passed on Tuesday. Your family will always be in our thoughts and prayers. She may no longer be with us, but she will never beforgotten.

There are no words that can fit to describe Kelly. She's caring, loving, and great with children. With the short time my son was in Adventure club (only 1 day a week for 5 weeks), he spoke very highly of Mrs. Kelly. She will truly be missed in Shirley Hills.
My condolences go out to your family. You have another angel watching over you. My prayers go out to everyone.

To the loved ones,
I was lucky enough to meet Kelly back in 2005 when she was a personal attendent in my friend's wedding; like everyone has been saying Kelly's smile would light up a room. I'm so glad I had the chance to see her smile and also to hear her laugh!
I hope that everyone can find comfort through memories.

Gail, John, David, and Shelby,
Too many times over the years I have driven by the house on Dunwoody to see all the cars in the driveway during times of sadness and grief. What a strong family you have become over the years. Kelly was so loved at Shirley Hills, as I know she was by your family. I know she was just like a daughter and sister to you all. She always had a smile on her face, and a twinkle in her eye. God be with you all in the days ahead.

I am so deeply saddened by the loss of Kelly. She was of the kindest and most thoughtful people I ever had the honor of calling my friend. In 15 years of friendship, she never missed a birthday wish or big event ;-) Words can not express how much she will be missed. My prayers are with the Nafus/Brady families during this time. She touched so many lives with her charisma and smile and she will live on in our memories. Lots of love to Kelly, John, Wende and their families.

John and family,
After reading all the entries in the Guest Book it's so evident how special Kelly was. I feel so lucky to of worked near her in the summer months at Hilltop. She ALWAYS, ALWAYS had a smile and a twinkle in her eye! She loved being around the kids, even the naughty ones! Thanks, John, for being a friend to Josh so we got to know your beautiful soulmate. Heaven has a very special place for this very precious Angel. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all at this most difficult time. Sherri, Greg (Josh and Derek)

Kelly is our little girl...but that is what every family feels. Kelly is our special-best friend...but anyone who ever met her will claim the same. Kelly's dynamic smile (just like her mom's) locks you in and no one ever wants to get out. Kell is everyones girl, John...but she chose you!
We Love you sweet girl,

December 4, 2009

Hey Bro,

We all were so lucky that you and Kelly found each other. The last time I spoke with her was when we all did the Monster 5K Dash and she asked me how life is out in Michigan.. I responded "It's alright. I want to be home though" and she said "How come?" long story short I talked with her for a few minutes about love/happiness/life and she responded, "A time will come when you will find that final puzzle piece and when it does, you will know your life is complete. I couldn't ask for anything more because I have it all" and then of course we talked smack about you and your dorky fashion sense ;) She really did love you so much and hearing her say how much her life was complete in terms of family, friends and mainly you only confirmed my assumption. It makes me feel good inside that even though she passed too young, her soul was filled. Many people's souls never are completely "full", but hers truly was. You know I am here for you forever... That's what we Nafus' are known for..

Love,
David Nafus
