To Lisa
For some reason I thought of you today and wanted to say hi. So I did a search on the internet and was floored by the news. I am sorry we didn't stay in touch. Even though we all drifted apart after "Voice of the Planet" you were always close to my heart. Your off the wall remark and humor helped to keep us laughing through it! You were and are one of the best!

Hawleys
and family,
I will never be able to think about my own childhood without
wondeful memories of my once inseparable friend lisa.We spent many days running through the woods between our houses, fishing off docks and exploring the shore of Lake Minnetonka.I still can recall her wonderful "silver tooth"smile.I am deeply saddened by her passing. My love goes out to her Mom and all her family

Dear Hawley Family:

I just heard of your loss today. I worked at US Trust/Resource Trust and Lisa was a client of ours. I worked with her almost on a daily basis for over 10 years. She was always so kind to me and generous. When I had my two babies she always sent cards and gifts for them. I have not been at the Trust Company for a few years now, but I will always have the memories of how kind she was. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Cory and Hawleys,
I hadn't seen Lisa in years but Lisa's heart was so big and her bonds so deep that I didn't require as much maintenance from her! Maybe that's why I felt so alone to realize that this great loving soul from my past was suddenly gone from the planet. Apparently I had become dependent imagining her holding things down (or up!) over there in the Pacific. I can't imagine how it is for you all. I send my prayers and love to her and you.

Dear everybody,
I am in shock. I e-mailed Lisa only yesterday asking How goes the missiion? To Corey who I never met, you must be a great guy and I'm so sorry. To the Hawley family, I have always adored Lisa. This is so sad.

Dear Hawley Family, I live in Panama now and so news was a little slow to reach me. I was very sad to hear about Lisa. We hadn't seen each other for some time, but I still remember playing at your house and the boys getting Blaze to attack me. We went in quite different directions as we grew up, I mean physically more than anything else, but to me Lisa will always be a lifelong childhood pal. Lane, I know what it's like to lose a sibling and my heart truly goes out to you..much love, Wendy Waldron

I was so sorry to here of your loss. You may not remember me, but I was the Hawley's nanny for a year in 64/65 and cared for Lisa & Lane. My sympathy to you all.

Corey,
Deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your darling, Lisa. Suzie and I have fond memories of our annual visits and regret that we never had an opportunity to respond to your regular invitations to come and experience the aloha with you. I hope to have the chance to talk with you when you find your voice again. Rest assured that we'll be thinking of you and Lisa's family on that mountain on Sunday. Say goodbye for us.

To the Hawleys and Corey,

The earth has lost a passionate advocate in Lisa. Her kind, loving, humorous and thinking spirit will be missed like no other. Somehow, I just have the feeling that she has some ambitious plans as she travels into the next dimension . . . ahead of the rest of us. I will miss her visionary energy dearly.

To Lisa's family & Corey,

I am so sorry about your loss. I have not seen Lisa in many years after I moved to California and back to Minnesota, but I always enjoyed spending time with her, talking about documentaries and spirituality. Her spirituality was very important to her as I am sure this continued, and I am glad that she was able to fulfill some of her dreams in Hawaii. She was such a gentle and kind spirit, may she rest in peace.

Dear Zita, Corey and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Lisa's passing. I had just recently heard she was not well...
Blessings be! Lisa was so caring and 'dear'. She is an angel. I loved our long chats on the phone. Having a childhood friend and kindred spirit here in the Islands was always so nice. I will miss her very much! Aloha! Nancy

To the Hawley family and Corey,
My heart goes out to you at the loss of your dear Lisa. Lisa was a wonderful, kind and caring person. Although I had not seen Lisa in a long time, we communicated through e-mail occassionally and she was a good friend to me and my sister who lives on the Big Island of Hawaii.
