Robert William Apelt

Apelt, Robert William age 91, of Brainerd, MN, formerly of Apple Valley, MN, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2010. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marvel. Uncle Bob will be greatly missed by many loving nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Bob was a Naval Veteran, serving in WWII in the 63rd Seabees. He spent his working career as a successful salesman for John Henry Foster Minnesota Inc. Bob's favorite life long passions were traveling throughout the United States, fishing and playing cribbage. Funeral services for Bob will be held on Saturday April 17, 2010 at 9:30 AM at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd, with visitation beginning at 9 AM. Another service will be held at White Funeral Home, Burnsville Chapel, 12804 Nicollet Ave S, at 2 PM on Saturday, April 17 with visitation beginning at 1:30 PM. Interment will take place at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens, Burnsville, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to American Cancer Society or Heartland Animal Rescue Team (HART), Brainerd, MN.
