Hi, I thought I would share a story that I will never forget. I was an employee at Golden Valley Clinic in late 70's/early 80's. I remember Dr Stone as a kind and gentle man who was a joy to be around. During one of our conversations he told me he could still put himself horizontal on a pole. We had a pole in our office and sure enough he extended himself sideways holding onto the pole. I have never forgotten this. I think he told me he was in gymnastics in college? I also remember him telling me he had to watch nightline every night or whatever the 10:30 news show was to keep up on the world events. I thought I would share this.

I have been blessed by knowing your Dad all my life. He brought me into this world almost 65 years ago, along with my brother and sister. He was my and my childrens doctor until he retired. My sympathy and prayers goes out to your family, but rejoyceing in the fact he is with our Lord.

What a blessing it has been to be a part of Stan's life in a small way and he a part of mine since he delivered me many years ago. To think of him at home with the Lord,Barbara and our other family members. Until we meet again on Heavens shore....

My memories of your dad and mom are all wonderful. Your dad was warn and an honorable man of God. They were wonderful role models for me as I was growing up and even into my adult years.
I remember asking your mom once when I was a young mom, what advice she could give me for raising my children as they had done such a wonderful job.
I also remember when I was 17 getting my ears pierced by your dad. He wanted to be sure my folks knew I was doing this.
Love, Jeanne Hagman Pride

Stan and Wally Anderson welcomed me to the Lowry Ave. office when I was at Northwestern Bible College preparing to go to as a missionary doctor to Taiwan with TEAM 1959-61. They let me work on their afternoons off and on Saturdays and night call to support our family of three, becoming four. What a blessing to work with such a sweet godly man, yet who had an almost daily joke to cheer everyone up. To my dismay, the course on Missions was only offered the second semester on my afternoons to work. I signed up for it trusting God would open some way to keep up my income. Before the next semester started Stan asked if I could work more hours. They were opening an office in Golden Valley!
The next 18 months that kept us afloat until we sailed for Taiwan for 33 years of service. We praise our Lord for all our many years of friendship and partnership.

Dear Stone family,
I should mention you all by name, but our loving sympathy goes out to each of you. We have so many fond memories of Dr. Stone. For me many years of working with him at the hospital, and for both of us-our trip to Isreal, celebrating their 40th Wdg. Anniv. and many more. He was a loved man and deserves his crown in heaven where he is now. God Bless.

Dear family of Dr. Stanley Stone: It was an honor to know your wonderful dad and grandfather, and we send sincere sympathy and love to each of you. He indeed was a kind and gentle doctor and friend, and his sparkle & wit were delightful. We are especially close to the McMillans, and know that you will miss dear "dad & Grandpa" deeply. He blessed my life, and set the tone for what we all should be in our "old age" as we await going home to Jesus. BLESSED BE HIS MEMORY. THanks be to God for the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and His promise - "Because I live, you shall live also."

Your daddy is walking with Jesus now and has no more pain, no cares, and no worries. I was honored to meet him and rejoice in his homegoing.

I have the honor of having this kind, gentle man's name on my birth certificate as the physician that delivered me into this world 60 years ago. Peace and comfort to his family as Dr. Stone has been delivered into the presence of his Saviour. Kent Peterson, Folsom, CA.
