William F. Fink

Fink, William F. Age 80, of Anoka and Burnsville, a most dedicated fan of the Packers, Canterbury Downs, Mille Lacs Lake, and avid collector, passed away Sunday, April 3. He earned his living with United Van Bus as a driver and dispatcher and then delivered cars after his retirement. A Navy veteran of the Korean War and member of the Teamsters Union, he thoroughly enjoyed gambling, fishing and snowmobiling trips for many years after his retirement. An honest soul, Dad lived his life his way doing everything he did to the fullest. He is survived by his children, Becky of Coon Rapids (Don Sommer), Bill Fink of Fridley; former wife Lorayn of Fridley and Blaine; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with his precious companion, Callie the Cat. He generously bequested his body to the University of Minnesota. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dad's life on the Saturday of opening weekend at Canterbury where he enjoyed most every opening day over the years.
