Kraft, Francis V. "Frank" Age 74, of Newport, died January 4, 2008. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Julianna Kraft; brother, Laurence; sisters, Alice and Eva; son, Joel. Survived by his wife, Kaye of 52 years; 4 children, Timothy (Kathie), Gregory (Shannon), Jayme, Nancy Huseby (John); 5 grandchildren, Nicole, Samantha, Cassandra Kraft, Nic Bardell, Joel Kraft; also survived by his brothers and sisters, many nieces and nephews and many friends. Frank was raised in ND and moved his family to the Twin Cities area in 1963 settling in Newport where he eventually began his own business. He always loved mechanical work and soon started working on antique and collectible cars. When he could do something he loved this much it wasn't like a job. He belonged to many car clubs and was awarded Lifetime Membership in the North Star Model T club that he helped found. He owned award-winning unusual cars. He fought a valiant fight with lung disease, COPD, and even though he was very ill, he managed to keep his sense of humor. Visitation is Tuesday, Jan. 8 from 4-6 PM, with the Memorial Mass at 6 PM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Ave., St. Paul Park. Twin Cities Cremation 612-866-6711
