Rolnicki, Thomas E. Age 60, of St. Louis Park, passed away into the arms of the Lord 12-20-09 in Hospital Hospice Care at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his mother, Polly; sister, Cathy (Earl) Molstad; brother, Don (Cherye) Rolnicki; and nieces, Ann (Ray) Hessil and Pam (Tim) Koch; their children Thomas (Godson of Thomas E. Rolnicki) and Emma Hessil, Carson and Kiley Koch, Alan Heider, a special friend to Thomas and his family; also survived by many other friends and family. Preceded in death by his father, Edward. Graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison School of Journalism and Master's Degree from Iowa State, Ames, IA. Co-author of Scholastic Journalism, wrote more than 500 educational booklets and brochures for journalism conferences, member of Quill & Scroll, honored by various education associations throughout the country, taught journalism courses throughout the US and various other countries, past affiliation with NSPA and JEA High School Journalism Association and most recently teacher of Business Writing at Minnesota School Of Business. Memorials may be given in his name to Student Press Law Center, Washington, D.C. Visitation and services 10 a.m., St. Anne Church, Wausau, WI.
