My son Todd has missed him all these years as they were “best friends” he was a fun loving young person & always has a smile. I sewed up his bike shorts a couple times for him as he said his mom didn’t have enough time & he was always on his bike.

Bob, my son Todd's best friend was always at our home, so instead of two kids, I had three. He was a joy. Todd's Mom

I just learned of Bob passing last week. We so much enjoyed Bob's wit and passion. I raced and rode many events with Bob and he always had a way to make each one special. My last race was in his honor. Tim & Deb Walsh

Fun Bobs are not in the plenty. Of the thousands I've know he is in the echelon. We miss you Bob but your legacy for life will carry on through the ones you've touched.

Bob "Fun Bob" you will be greatly missed as a friend and a big loss to the cycling community. He got me started on group rides and then on to racing. I enjoyed having long conversations about cycling and everything else. It will not be the same without him at Erik's Bike shop. Rest in Peace.

Bob was a good neighbor and friend. I too will remember him when I ride my Sirrus and don my bike helmet and shoes. May God bless Bob and his family.

Bob was such a nice and friendly person. He always greeted me by name when I came into Erik's in Maple Grove, even though I was just a regular customer. Over the years I bought two bikes and he was such a big help. I will miss him.

"Fun" Bob was one of the first guys I met when I started MTB racing. Always smiling and a great conversationalist. I remember how much he loved bikes and racing. You will be missed!

I've enjoyed several bike rides with him. I'm also racing on the bike he sold to me. He will be in mind every time I ride. He will be missed.

I'm going to miss the economics lectures on the long winter work days at the bike shop, building your top of the line mountain and road bikes, and how you were always down for a Miller Light (and recently Bud Light Lime). Bob, you were my mentor, you took me under your wing in many different areas such as mountain biking, motorcycling, being smart with money and outlooks on life. Without you around I wouldn't have made it to where I am today as an avid cyclist/motorcyclist and home owner. When I think back to everything you've done, all that comes to mind is "SICK AS AIDS" with a crossed double fist bump... meaning Thanks F.B.

Bob was my other son during Jr. High & High school. He spent a lot of days with Todd & his friends. I know he had a pashion for biking & he brought his torn bike shorts for me to sew. He will be missed. Way too young. Geri & Don Seaberg (Mother of Todd Woolf)
