I didn't know you, Mick, but I knew and loved your dad, who in 1974 SAVED my young life in his courtroom and took kindly critical measure of my character and my mind. I have a very fond memory of our talk afterward. He was upbeat, warm & generous. You & I are relatively the same age and looking at your picture, I know that I can correctly, even at this late hour, call you, my friend & my brother. Requiescat In Pacem, rest in peace, my brother.

Mickey was the best neighbor anyone could ask for. Remembering all the fun we had,firework wars,plowing the whole drive way and yard,bbq's in the driveway,hand delivered rib dinners,king crab dinner from the club when Evon was sick,boats and cars in the yard,the Christmas bag that kept on being passed around taking and adding random items ...You will defiantly be missed by the whole Paige family. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Lord family during this time of grief. We Love You Micky always and forever.

Cousin Mick Lord, one of the most admired people we have ever known...fun loving, kind, sincere, and yet the biggest rascal to anyone who ever met him!! Our deep condolences and sympathy to Miles, Priscilla, Virginia and the grandchildren. We will surely miss Mickey. He made this world a much better place. Mick will never be forgotten.

Dear Priscilla, Virginia and all,
My heart is broken to hear of Mick's passing. I am comforted only by the fact that he called me just a couple of months ago; so his voice is fresh in my mind and I know he has not forgotten me. The years I spent with both of you and your dear brothers were probably the most magical of my life. I have to say tho, that Mick was likely the most understated hero in the family. Just looking at him always brought warmth to my heart and a smile to my face. He was truly one of a kind; he lived according to the beat of his own drum, and you couldn't help but love him for it. He was/is very precious and I'll always be grateful for him and for all of you in my life. You ALL showed me what it meant to live life graciously, with joy, kindness, and a great sense of adventure. I am shocked and saddened by the passing of Mick . My favorite memories of Mick were from those wonderful fishing trips to Leech and Basswood Lake with father Miles as our leader ! Lots of fun !

Micky Man, as he was known in our family, was a fellow of jokes and tricks and much love for his family and friends. The photo in his obit is so appropriate of him saying goodbye with a smile.
