Dwire, Harold L. age 81, of Fridley, passed away May 10. He was preceded in death by mother, Velma Dwire; stepfather, George Dwire; father, Elmer Edwards; stepmother, Lucille and brother, Bill. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Gloria; son, Michael; daughter, Melanie Harff (Martin Jewison); granddaughter, Kanya; sister, Jessie Robertson; sister-in-law, Marchetta Dwire; 13 nieces & nephews. Harold was born in New Castle, CO. He was raised in Glenwood Springs, CO and moved to Minneapolis. After serving in the USAF for 4 years, he continued his strong passion for aviation and EAA Chapter #237. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends. He loved a good visit and was always ready for a coffee break. Memorial service Monday, 11 AM, with visitation one hour prior at St. Philip's Lutheran Church, 6180 Hwy 65 NE, Fridley.
