Karp, Abraham (A.B.) Age 97, of Friendship Village, Bloomington, formerly of Minneapolis, died on February 26, 2012. Sur- vived by daughter Elizabeth Fulford (James) of Apple Valley; son Frederick of Richmond, VA; grandsons Chris (Jennifer Ward) Fulford of Seattle, WA; Craig (Susanne) Fulford of Apple Valley; five great- grandchildren, Katelynne, Caden, Ellie, London, and William; brother Leon (Louella) Karp of Los Angeles; several nieces and nephews; and Janet Karp of Eden Prairie. Preceded in death by loving wife of 69 years, Mary; one brother and two sisters. Served as an officer in World War II in France, the Philippines, and Japan. Graduate of the University of Illinois. Retired from General Mills after 32 years. 42-year member of Hamline United Methodist Church. Memorials preferred to Friendship Village Foundation Scholarship Fund, 8100 Highwood Dr., Bloomington, MN 55438 or donor's choice. Memorial Service 11:30 AM Thursday, June 14 with visitation beginning at 11 AM at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, West 50th St. & Vernon Ave. at Hwy. 100. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
