Quist, Doris "Daisy" Mae (Marsh) of Mpls., went home to Jesus on Oct. 2nd at the age of 91. Survived by husband of 70 years, Gene, brother, Ben Marsh, sons, Michael and Jonathan and daughter Marsha (Ron) Navamanie; grandchildren, Bradley Graupmann, and Miriam Navamanie. Doris grew up in South Mpls., grad of South High. Married to Herman Eugene "Gene" Quist in 1942, attended the U of M. She ran a kindergarten out of her home for many years in Bloomington. She was active in her church, Emmaus Lutheran. During the 1970's she worked with Metro United Prayer Ministry and started a youth program called "In Club". She and Gene served with Campus Crusade for Christ for 20 years and her greatest joy in life was to introduce others to Jesus Christ and disciple them. She was known for her stories of faith, her hospitality and prayer ministry. Funeral at Emmaus Lutheran Church, 8443 2nd Ave. S., Bloomington, on Fri., Oct. 5 at 11, visitation one hour before.
