Holmgren, Paul L. Age 80, of Ham Lake, went home to be with his Lord on October 6, 2012. Preceded in death by wife, Ardis; grandson, Anders; great- grandchild, Dax Hove. Survived by wife, Shirley; sons and their children, Craig (Sandi) and daughter, Mikayla; Barrett (Debbie) and children, Leigh (Tanner) Olson, Karley (Philip) Porta and Zachary; Lonnie (Joyce) and children, Nathan (Jen) Eland and Max (Johnna) Holmgren; and Shirley's family, Lori (Steve) Moore and children, Ned (Alyssa) and Josie (Jimmy) St. Peter, Jay (Randa) Wik and children, Jason (Amanda) and Katie (Nick) Hove; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Marianne (Ray) Williams. Paul graduated from Braham HS and served in the Air Force during the Korean War and later attended Northwest Electronic School of Engineering. He worked for GE x-ray division to start his electronic career. Paul then worked at electronic distributor Stark Electronics before starting his own electronic rep firm, Holmgren Associates in 1983. Paul's passion was people and he will be deeply missed by his many friends. Visitation Thursday, October 11 from 4-7 PM at HOLCOMB-HENRY-BOOM- PURCELL, 515 Hwy 96 W. at Mackubin, Shoreview. Funeral service 11 AM Friday, October 12 (visitation begins 10 AM) at GRACEPOINT CHURCH, 2351 Rice Creek Rd., New Brighton. Interment Stanchfield Baptist Cemetery at 2:30 PM on Friday.
