Podzimek, Eugene Earl (1931-2012) Staff Sergeant United States Air Force, Korean War (1950-1953). Longtime resident of Wayzata, Minnesota. Founder and 25-year owner of Village Meats in Wayzata, along with Mississippi Riverwood Campers' Resort in Elk River. Proud father of 4 children, along with 4 grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Brian (1982), and daughter, Frances (2007). Survived by brother, Bill; former wife, Jean; along with sons, Mark (Debbie), Dan (Janice); son-in-law, Keith (Frances) Stangler and former daughter-in-law, Cheri Beranek; along with grand- children, Tori, Andrew, Tanner, and Rebecca, along with many nieces and nephews. Died on Tuesday, October 9th following a long battle with Lung Fibrosis. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 15th from 5 pm to 8 pm with a prayer service at 7:30 pm at David Lee Funeral Home, 1220 E. Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 16th at 11 am at the Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 E. Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata. Interment will follow at Ft.
