Bartholomew, Kenneth E. age 92, of Minneapolis, passed away on October 9, 2012. Kenny was a WWII veteran, an Olympic silver medalist in speedskating, lineman for Northwestern Bell and owner of Ken's Tree Service. After retirement, he worked for Meadowbrook Golf Course in the summers and Hyland Ski Area in the winters. Preceded in death by the love of his life, Evelyn, after 65 years of marriage and brothers, Earl and Carl. Survived by daughters, Annie, Janis (Tim), Barb, Patty and Mary (Paul); grandchildren, Stephanie, Jenny (Dave), Lauren, Diana, Paul (Dani), Rick (Cassandra) and Joey; great-grandchildren, Kassidy, Carter and Kaelyn; brother, Vern and sister, Ardys; many nieces and nephews including special nephews, Mark and Danny. A celebration of Kenny's life will be held on Tuesday, October 23rd, 6:30 PM at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 3901 1st Ave S, Mpls.
