Wilhoit, Margaret M. "Peg" (Morison) age 99, of Sanibel, FL, and Hopkins, MN, died December 14, 2012, in Ft. Myers, FL. Peg was born September 15, 1913, in Minneapolis, MN, to Fred O. and Mary (Dubeau) Morison. She graduated from Waseca High School and attended the College of St. Catherine. Her husband, Richard O. "Dick" preceded her in death. Peg is survived by five children, Richard (Lucy), Anne Welsh (Morris Baskett), John, Katherine (Thomas) McGrane and Christine (Dennis) Taylor, 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by daughter-in- law, Terry, and grandson, Eric Wilhoit, brother, Robert Morison and his wife, Violet, sister, Bonnie and her husband, Ulysses Crisp, and brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Helen Wilhoit. Peg was active in her church in both Hopkins and Sanibel. After moving to Sanibel she became enthralled with the abundant shells to be found there on the beach. She became a skilled craftswoman in the art of making delightful creations of the many varieties of shells available to her. In her early 70s she took up tap dancing and participated in a group of senior dancers for several years on Sanibel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church (formerly St. John the Evangelist), 6 Interlachen Rd. Hopkins, MN, on Saturday, January 12, at 11 a.m. preceded by visitation at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Wayside House, Inc., 2120 Clinton Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55404, Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, 328 Kellogg Blvd. W., St. Paul, MN 55102, Guadalupe Center, Inc., 509 Hope Circle, Immokalee, FL 34142, or donor's choice.
