Sandberg, Jill Anne 1956-2009. Annandale. Died peacefully Saturday, March 7 after a long illness. Preceded in death by her father, Rudie Sandberg, of Pillager, MN. Survived by her mother, Robin Sandberg, Pillager; siblings, Steve (Shari) Sandberg, Stillwater, and Lynn (James) Scearcy, Minnetonka; nieces VeRonica Sandberg, Robin (Jake Fischer) Scearcy, and Erin (Brian) Larson; nephew, Ted (Lindsay Elmquist) Scearcy; loyal friends, Connie Nelson, Traci Scott, Barbara Schubert, Mary Jo Schubert, Connie Krueger and many more loving relatives and friends than the heart can name. Jill worked many years as a supervisor for the Hennepin County Adult Corrections Facility in Plymouth. Memorial service First Lutheran Church, Pillager, Minnesota, Saturday, April 4, 1 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held at the Maple Lake American Legion Saturday, March 28, 1 to 5 p.m. (Program 2 p.m.) Memorials will go to the Baldwin Park Light Fund and the Minnesota Humane Society to honor Jill's passion for recreational sports and her love of Barney and Gabby.
