French, Herbert C. Age 78 of Edina, joined his Lord Jesus Christ in his eternal home on July 11, 2011. Herb grew up in Osnabrock, ND. He went to college at NDSU in Fargo, ND and graduated with a degree in Agricultural Engineering in 1957. Herb served in the Air Force and the Air National Guard. He was a pilot for NW Airlines for 35 years. He was a member of Grace Church in Eden Prairie. In his later years, he faithfully served Jesus Christ and was fully devoted to Him as his Lord and Savior. His desire was for others to have a saving relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Herb is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of 42 years; daughters, Julie (Alan) & Lori; brothers, Curt (Arlene), Wayne (Ginny) & Jerry (Louise); sister-in-laws, Barbara and Mary Ann; grandsons, Jacob & Nathan; 4 nieces & 4 nephews. He is preceded in death by brother, Ernie and brother-in-law, David. The Memorial Service is on Mon., July 18 at 11 AM with visitation at 10 AM at Grace Church, 9301 Eden Prairie Rd., Eden Prairie.
