Rebecca Thomas, 65, died Monday, December 23, in East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Thomas was born in Savannah and lived many years in Cincinnati, Ohio, before moving to Statesboro in 1985. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her son, Ernest "Ernie" Mobarry of Statesboro; daughters, Mary Lavon Harris, and her husband, Donald, of Trenton, Ga., and Alice Michelle Deloach of Dalton, Ga.; brother, John Webster Thomas of Savannah; sister, Linda Bird of Rincon; eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 9:30-11 a.m. Friday, December 27, at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 27, in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with the Reverend Larry E. Bird officiating. Burial will be held privately.
Hodges-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
