Brannen, Mr. George Mikell - Statesboro  
STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mr. George Mikell Brannen, 85, passed away Tuesday morning, March 31, 2015, at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility in Statesboro. George was born in Statesboro, Ga., on July 14, 1929. He was a 1947 graduate of Statesboro High School and had played football and ran track. After high school, he served in the Army National Guard from 1949-1951. He later was known as the "Gas Man" around Statesboro and owned his own business as an LP Gas Service man for many years. George was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ruth Brannen; one son, Mike Brannen; one brother and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Eloise Tucker Brannen of Statesboro; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Lynn Brannen of Statesboro and John and Tanja Brannen of Titusville, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Julie Brannen of Statesboro; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, James and Marie Tucker of Midway and Ted Tucker of San Francisco, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank his two care givers, Frances Carter and Sonya Sapp. The funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Elder Billy Mullis officiating. Interment will be in the Eastside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Arnold Deal, Eric Deal, Franklin Edenfield, Kenny Tucker, Jerry Joiner, Tony Joiner, Donald Joiner, Hubert Tucker and Tracy Joiner. Bunch, Ms Willouise (McCoy) - Nevils  
NEVILS, Ga. -- Ms. Willouise McCoy Bunch, age 72, died Thursday evening at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. The Savannah, Georgia, native lived most of her life in Bulloch County and was a homemaker. Willouise loved people and always told everyone that she loved them. She enjoyed caring for her flowers, chickens and her dog, Lucy. She was preceded in death by a son, Winston Bunch; her parents, W.L. and Annie Mae Hart McCoy; and two sisters, Jeanette Hendrix and Evalee Wise. Surviving are four sons and three daughters-in-law, James and Jane Johnson of Nevils, Wendell and Debra Bunch of Claxton, Weldon Bunch and Tina Thompson of Nevils and Walton Bunch of Texas; a brother, Albert McCoy of Universal City, Texas; four grandchildren, Jessica Kilburn and Doug of Winder, Brandon Johnson and Jessica Spivey of Statesboro, Jonathan Bunch and Tiffany Thompson; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home.
