Robinson, Mrs. Ethel Mae  
Mrs. Ethel Mae Robinson, age 69, passed peacefully away after a brief illness at Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was a member of Bethelhem Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving daughter, Ethel Marie Lee of Statesboro, Ga.; a loving godson, Renarda Lee of Swainsboro, Ga.; her loving sisters, Mary Lee, Linda Faye Lee, Lulla Bell Lee and Idela Linburg, all of Portal, Ga.; a loving brother, Odell Lee of Register, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service for Mrs. Ethel Mae Robinson was held on Friday, December 19th, at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro, Georgia, with Minister Joyce Williams officiating. The family wishes to thank everyone for the support shown and phone calls made to them during their time of bereavement. Craig R. Rushing, Ouida (Brown) - Statesboro  
Ouida Brown Rushing, 73, died Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at Ogeechee Area Hospice. Ouida was a native of Statesboro and was a graduate of Old Dominion. She lived in Florida, Virginia and California before moving to Portal and then back to Statesboro. She was a registered nurse and nurse practitioner at East Georgia Regional Medical Center for many years. She was of the Baptist faith and was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents, Darby and Louise Brown; stepmother, Lillian Y. Brown; her husband, Walden Rushing; her daughter, Brenda Carol Rushing young; her brothers, Henry Darby Brown Jr. and Jerry L. Brown; and infant brother, Wyman Brown. She is survived by her son, David Charles ""Charlie"" Rushing of Reidsville; sister, Bonnie Brown Shearouse, and her husband, Frederick, of Statesboro; granddaughter, Kristal Glisson Martin of Adairsville, Ga.; two great-grandchildren, Andrew Martin and Thomas Martin, both of Adairsville, Ga. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday, December 12, at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
