Mr. Brantley William Barnes, age 61, passed after an extended illness at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility. He was born in Screven County to the late Merritte and Gladys Barnes and attended Screven County High. He resided in Bulloch County for many years and was employed in construction work until his health failed.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Mrs. Gladys McNeill-Bell (Raymond) and Mrs. Ernestine Cutter (the Rev. Clifford), both of Philadelphia, Pa., and Mrs. Mary Bryant of Savannah, Ga.; his loving brothers, Mr. Adam Barnes (Sophie), Mr. Franklin Barnes and Mr. Walter Barnes (Annie Ruth), all of Sylvania, Ga., and Mr. Johnny Barnes (Ora Lee) of Philadelphia, Pa.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 3rd, from 2-3 p.m. in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel.
A Celebration of Life service will be Sunday, November 3rd, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Craig R. Tremble officiating.
