Mr. Elisha Jackson "Jack" Baughcom Jr. passed away Thursday night at Syl-View nursing home.
He was born to the late Carolyn Hunter Hemingway and Elisha Baughcom Sr. of Macon, Ga. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy
and was an AM 3rd Class. Jack was formerly the caretaker of St. Catherine's Island and was retired from Levy's Jewelers as a goldsmith, jeweler and engraver. He was a resident of Blue Springs since 1970.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carmine Josephine Lee Baughcom.
Survivors include his sister-in-law, Wynona "Nonie" Smoak of Newington; and many nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be held Sunday, October 20, 2013, at 3 p.m. in Newington City Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Cleary officiating.
