MANHATTAN, N.Y.. -- Mr. Harry Lee Jackson III was born May 26, 1964, in Santa Anna, California, to Mrs. Addie Odom and Harry L. Jackson Jr. He was a graduate of the class of 1982 and at an early age he became a member of the Whitesville Baptist Church. Harry had a wonderful life, which came to a close on January 18, 2014, when the Lord called him home as he resided in Manhattan, New York.
Harry leaves loving memories to be cherished by three sons, Hassan and Jamell, both of Atlanta, Ga., Jarair, Harlem, New York; his mother, Addie Odom Jackson, Statesboro, Ga.; father, Harry Lee Jackson Jr., Los Angles, Calif.; a brother, Donald Jackson (Michell); a sister, Roshawn Jackson, Florence, S.C.; a grandmother, Eleanor Jackson, Los Angles, Calif.; five aunts and four uncles, Pastor Mary Odom Lee (Lawrence), Statesboro, Ga., Apostle Charlie Odom (Effie), Philadelphia, Pa., Shirley Nunnally, Daytona Beach, Fla., Frederick Jackson, Los Angles, Calif.; a great-aunt, Jessie Odom, Statesboro, Ga.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, a devoted friend and angel sent by God, Shanea Matthews, Harlem, New York.
The memorial service for Mr. Harry Lee Jackson III will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014, at the Thomas Grove Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Mary Odom Lee, pastor.
