SYLVANIA, Ga./BEAUFORT, S.C. -– Helen Jamerson Mills, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro. She was born in Sylvania, Ga., worked at Mills Insurance Agency as the office manager and was a member of Sylvania First United Methodist Church. She also lived in Beaufort, S.C., for 14 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack Donald Sr. and Elizabeth Evans Jamerson; sister, Joan J. Archer.
Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, William H. Jr. and Tracy Mills and Matthew J. and Courtney Mills, all of Sylvania; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Joyce Jamerson of Sylvania; brother-in-law, John Archer of Tifton, Ga.; grandchildren, Carter Mills of Johns Creek, Ga., Hobby Mills of Sylvania, Raleigh Mills of Marietta, Ga., and Harrison Mills of Marietta, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be Saturday, February 16, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the Screven County Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Ralph Dixon officiating.
