Jerry Aldrich, age 67, died Thursday, October 31, in his residence.
Mr. Aldrich was a native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County and was a 1965 graduate of Statesboro High School. Jerry was a United States Army
veteran serving in Vietnam and was a member of the American Legion Post 90. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and R.E. Aldrich; sister, Gloria Crosby and his wife, Jean Deal Aldrich.
Jerry is survived by his son, Kyle Aldrich (Christy), Statesboro; 3 brothers, Talmadge Aldrich (Betty); Aubrey Aldrich (Joyce) and Harold Aldrich, all of Statesboro, 4 sisters, Margaret Quarles; Sylvia Hill, Joyce Saxon (Ray) and Deborah Harville (Herman), all of Statesboro, 1 grandchild, Hunter Aldrich, 2 step-grandchildren, Taylor and Rayna, many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 PM Saturday, November 2, in Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, November 3, in the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Newman officiating.
Pallbearers will be: Dell Saxon, Jason Harville, Todd Aldrich, Allan Aldrich, Clay Gracen and Keith Deal.
Burial will be in Middleground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Hodges-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
