STATESBORO, Ga. -- Ms. Jessie M. Tremble, age 73, passed into rest early Friday morning, March 14, 2014, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center. She was educated in the public school system of Statesboro and a graduate of the William James High School class of 1961. Ms. Tremble was retired from Cooper Tools as a machine operator and a member of the Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, where she served as a missionary. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Rosa Hagan Tremble.
Ms. Tremble leaves a legacy of love to be cherished by her sisters, Ms. Corine Tremble, Statesboro, Ga., Mrs. Margaret Jones, Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Evelyn (Leslie) Moon, Camp Springs, Maryland, Ms. Carolyn Tremble and Ms. Ada Tremble, both of Statesboro, Ga.; brothers, Mr. Eddie (Betty) Tremble and Paul (Margaret) Tremble, both of Statesboro, Ga.
Family visitation will be held on Wednesday evening 7-8 p.m. in the chapel of Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
The funeral service for Ms. Tremble will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014, at the Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, Highway 24 East, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Earl Perkins, pastor, and the Rev. Ronnie S. Tremble, eulogist. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
Ms. Tremble will lie in state on the day of the service one hour prior to the service. There will be no viewing after the eulogy.
