Mr. John Wesley "Bubba" McNeil

BROOKLET, Ga.: Mr. John Wesley "Bubba" McNeil passed away on Saturday, December 21st, at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native of Bulloch County and a former employee of the Statesboro Cotton Gin.
In addition to his parents, Mr. John Wesley and Mrs. Katriner McNeil, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie James "Mutt" McNeil and John Wesley "JW" McNeil Jr.
He is survived by five sisters, Johnnie Mae (John) Lee and Madie (Julius) James, both of Brooklet, Rosa Lee Mills, Statesboro, Diane Andrews, Holloywood, Fla., Joyce Ann Miller, Decatur; a special sister, Tracy Hardy, Pembroke, Ga.; three special brothers, Willie (Oma) Robertson, Brooklet, James (Laura) Hardy, Savannah, and Joseph (Denise) Hardy, Statesboro; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mr. McNeil will be held on Saturday, December 28th, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of James R. Barnes Mortuary with Elder Donald Chavers officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will receive family and friends on Friday evening from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
