WAYNESBORO - Mrs. Lynelle W. Parrish, age 76, of Waynesboro, died Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at her residence. She was a native of Emanuel County and attended Pendleton Community Church. Mrs. Parrish was retired from Union Teamster Trucking and loved to watch racing.
Mrs. Parrish was preceded in death by her parents, Grover Cleveland Waters and Leila Kersey Waters; and one daughter, Patricia Collins.
Survivors are: ex-husband William Parrish of Waynesboro; two sons, Lloyd (Tammie) Lindsey of Statesboro and John Cleveland Collins of Waynesboro; one daughter, Sylvia (Charles) Tabb of St. Augustine, Fla.; one brother, Wallace Waters of Lyons; one sister, Fonnie Mae Phillips.
The funeral service for Mrs. Lynelle Parrish will be Saturday, July 5, 2008, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Murchison Funeral Home in Vidalia with the Rev. Gary Roberson and the Rev. Brian Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Waters Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 4, 2008, from 6-9 p.m.
