BROOKLET -- Mrs. Mickey Lynn Polly Pollard, age 59, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014, in Brunswick. Mrs. Pollard was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Brooklet. She loved her family and crafts, was very artistic and also a very good cook with excellent baking skills. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maynard Ray and Gladys Dale Polly; and her father-in-law, Paul Franklin Pollard.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Paul Pollard Sr.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Misty and Robert Underwood of Brunswick and Joanne and Jason Joiner of Brooklet; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Paul Jr. and Tina Pollard of Richmond Hill; her mother-in-law, Josephine Pollard of Brooklet; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Audrey Farris and Jack Myers of Ocala, Fla., and Ida Louvina and Robert Martorelli; eight grandchildren, Marcy and Justin Smith, Jonathan and Kate Lank, Maranda Lank, Josie Lynn Underwood, Robert Underwood II, Jason M. Joiner II, Kirstyn Cardwell and Justin Ray Pollard; and a great-granddaughter, Lillian Smith.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2014, at the funeral home.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2014, in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Stan Tyson officiating. Interment will follow in Brooklet City Cemetery.
