J. Frank Olliff Jr. of Macon died at the Medical Center on Wednesday, June 11.
Visitation will be at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, on Friday, June 13, from 4-6 p.m.
The funeral service will be at Vineville United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 14, at 11 a.m. with Dr. Jimmy Asbell and the Rev. Jimmy Duke officiating.
The Mack Anthony Sunday School Class is asked to sit together at the service.
Burial is private.
The family requests that donations be made to Vineville Methodist Church, 2045 Vineville Avenue, Macon, 31204; or The Methodist Children's Home, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon 31204.
A native of Statesboro, Georgia, he was born to Janie Brunson Olliff and J. Frank Olliff. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He majored in industrial arts at Georgia Teachers College, received a B.S. degree in pharmacy from the University of Georgia, where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.
He was a member of the First District Pharmaceutical Association, served as president of the Millen Lion's Club and was on the Administrative Board of Millen United Methodist Church. He worked at Eckerd Drugs at Napier Square in Macon for 22 years.
He has been a member of Vineville United Methodist Church for 43 years, where he served on the Administrative Board, was a member of the Mack Anthony Sunday School Class and with his wife delivered flowers to shut-ins for eight years.
Survivors include his loving wife, Nell; sons, Jim (Cathy) of Macon and Jay (Suzie) of Woodstock; granddaughters, Madeline Olliff of Woodstock and Mary Brannen Olliff of Macon; sister-in-law, Frances Brannen of Macon; and nieces, Dianne Brannen and Wendie Reynolds of Macon; sister-in-law, Myra Jo Olliff of Alpharetta; and nephews, William Jr. of Alpharetta and Wayne Olliff of Statesboro.
