STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mr. William Ennis "Bill" Winslette, age 71, died on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at his residence. The Monroe, Ga., native lived in Macon and was a 1965 graduate of the University of Georgia Pharmacy School. In 1965, he moved to Sylvania and purchased Screven Drug Company and operated it for over 30 years. He served in the Air National Guard and was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Suzanne Adams Winslette.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Brandt and Colleen Winslette of Canton, Ga.; a daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Tony Murray of Sylvania, Ga.; four grandchildren, Kathleen, Walker and Olivia Winslette and Georgia Smith; a sister and brother–in-law, Patsy and Bill Sharpe of Travelers Rest, S.C.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of thw donor's choice.
