SYLVANIA - Anne Brant Boddiford, age 82, died Monday, February 11, 2008, at Screven County Hospital in Sylvania. The Screven County native was a member of Buck Creek United Methodist Church and was retired from Farm Service Agency. She was also a member of Screven County Farm Bureau and Buck Creek Homemakers Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey E. Boddiford Jr.; and brother, Gene Brant.

Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Elizabeth C. Boddiford of Sylvania; sisters and brother-in-law, Betty B. and Virgil Scott and Cindy B. Williams, all of Sylvania; sister-in-law, Barbara Brant of Clyo; granddaughter, Heather Howard of Sylvania; step-granddaughters, Mary Hall, Tonya Hall, Lisa Hall and Kisha H. Sanders; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Wednesday, February 13, 2008, from 6-8 p.m.
The funeral service: Thursday, February 14, 2008, at 2 p.m. in the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Purnell officiating. Burial in the Buck Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Billy Dasher, Jim Edenfield, Matt Brant, Brian Rybackin, Bill Ferguson and Ricky Scott.
Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home in charge of all the funeral arrangements.
