SYLVANIA - Annie Mae Mock Beasley, age 93, died Monday, October 23, 2006, at Syl-View Health Care Center in Sylvania. The Screven County native was a homemaker and a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Sylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Lester Beasley; and daughter, Bernice B. Parker.

Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Billie Jean B. and Melvin Gordon of Springfield; sons and daughters-in-law, James Edward "Jim" and Martha Beasley of Hiltonia and Jerry Mack and Peggy Beasley of Sylvania; sisters, Billie Lee of Smyrna, Ga., Julia M. Holland of Statesboro and Willie Mae White of Dublin, Ga.; 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Wednesday, 1-2 p.m.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday in the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Chapel with the Rev. Bill Burk and the Rev. Don Scarborough officiating. Burial will be in the Screven County Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers: grandsons, Barry Waters, Butch Beasley, David Beasley, Marshall Beasley, Adam Beasley, Brad Morton, Wendell Waters, Michael Waters, Dennis Parker, David Parker and Alan Thompson.
