STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mr. Carl "B.I." Curry Jr. passed away on February 24th at his residence under the excellent care of Ogeechee Area Hospice after an extended illness. He was a native of Union Point, Ga., reared in Cincinnati, Ohio, and made Statesboro his home several years ago.

He is survived by two sisters, Diane (Gregory) Smith and Shelia (Albert) Marshall, both of Statesboro; three brothers, Cecil Curry and Clamis (Kathy) Curry, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Darryl (Bonita) Curry, Statesboro; special friend, Shirley Byrd, Statesboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and lifetime friends.
The funeral service for Mr. Curry will be Saturday, March 8th, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of James R. Barnes Mortuary with Elder Donald Chavers officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
