JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Mr. Everett Lee DuBois Jr. passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012, at St. Vincent's Hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Bulloch County, but moved to Jacksonville many years ago. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Ruth Barnes Dubois; and a son, Jimmy DuBois.

He was a retired construction worker and member of Hutchinson Longstreet Baptist Church.
He is survived by four sons, Eddie DuBois, Durham, N.C., Larry DuBois, Atlanta, Jessie DuBois and Raymond DuBois. both of Philadelphia, Pa.; three sisters, Callie Ruth Simmons and Lois Washington, both of Jacksonville, Fla., and Julia Mae Smokes, Savannah; four brothers, Robert DuBois, Winston DuBois, Ronald DuBois and the Rev. Donald DuBois, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 7, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Hucthisgson Longstreet Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald DuBios Officiating. Burial will be in Cone Cemetery, Stilson.
The family will receive family and friends on Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
