Mrs. Geneva Mary Floyd Frasier, age 82, of Cedartown, Ga. passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2010 following an extended illness.

Geneva Floyd Frasier was born on September 14, 1927 in Polk County, GA to her parents, the late Sam Floyd and Beulah Jones Floyd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe Floyd, T.L. Floyd, Clyde Floyd, Bill Floyd and Doc Floyd and her sisters, Malline Ritch and Annie Brown.
She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church for 63 years. She was a member of the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class, the Church's Choir, W.M.U., and the Sonshine Club. In the past, she had taught sunday school, vbs and had served in other areas of the church. She retired from the Sewell Manufacturing Company as a supervisor after 30 plus years of service.
Geneva Frasier was a loving, devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Edward Frasier, her daughter, Freda F. Johnson, her grandchildren, Heather Johnson Wayne and John, Amy Johnson Weiser and Todd & Ginger Ann Johnson, her great grandchildren, Ella Kay Wayne and Tyson Weiser & a great granddaughter due in September. Special friends, Henry & Bonnie Brown and family, Ethel Tolleson and Harold Wiggins, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Geneva Floyd Frasier will be conducted on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 3 p.m. from the Southside Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.
