A degree of liberal arts was earned at Wells College as was a master's degree N.Y.U. in New York City. She also was an early contestant on the TV show Jeopardy. While raising her family in Westfield, N.J., she became a popular elected member of the local school board. Later she became director of women's affairs at the Westfield Y.M.C.A.
During her youth, she was a numbered tennis player. However, a knee thwarted her progress. Later she was bitten by the golf bug and played in 26 countries with hubby, Harry. Grandkids and golf were her passions, along with logic and the Sunday Times Crosswords. Upon moving to Statesboro, she was able to partner with daughter, Susan, in business and watch Alex and Hudson mature. Socially, she immensely enjoyed her friends at Splash and the Newcomers Club. She surley will be missed by all. God bless.
