Mrs. Mary Lizzy Brown, age 79, of Savannah, Ga., passed away Thursday, March 6th, at Savannah Hospice Inc. She was a Bulloch County native, but resided in Savannah, Georgia, for many years. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Russ and Mrs. Genevia Walker of Statesboro, Ga. She attended Sandridge School of Bulloch County.

She is survived by a loving son, Willie Joe Hardy of Savannah, Ga.; her loving sisters, Helen Moss, Frances Johnson (Eugene) and Patricia Robertson, all of Statesboro, Ga., and Georgia Hayward of Hollywood, Fla.; a loving brother, Frank Walker (Mary) of Hollywood, Fla.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Mary Lizzy Brown will be Saturday, March 15th, at 1 p.m. at Mount Zion A.M.E. Church, Highway 24 East, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Earl Perkins, pastor. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
