Remer Logan Brady Jr., 84, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Nov 13, 2013, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born in Statesboro, Ga., where he lived until 1964, when he transferred to Savannah with his work. He was employed by National Life and Accident Insurance Company until he retired and started his own insurance agency in 1986.
He served in the U.S. Army National Guard during the Korean conflict.
He was a charter member of Pittman Park United Methodist Church in Statesboro until his move to Savannah, where his family joined White Bluff United Methodist Church.
He enjoyed membership in The Bacon Park Senior Blitz until his stroke eight years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nell Bowen Brady of Savannah, Ga.; two sons, the Rev. Brad Brady of Perry, Ga., and Bob Brady (Lori) of Savannah, Ga.; a daughter, Beth Brady Mozingo (James) of Savannah, Ga.; and four grandchildren, Michael Mozingo, Robert Brady, Kendal Brady and Sarah Mozingo Garcia; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 4–6 p.m. Friday at Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
The funeral service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov 16, 2013, at White Bluff United Methodist Church, with the Rev. John Haney and the Rev. Nathan Godley officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro, Ga.
Fairhaven Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel, and Hodges–Moore Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
