STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mr. Frank Daughtry, age 80, passed away Sunday at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center after an extended illness. Mr. Daughtry, a native of Bulloch County, lived in Hinesville for many years. He retired after 30 years of service to the Liberty County Road Department in road construction. Mr. Daughtry moved to Statesboro in 2003 and was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Eloise D. Daughtry; and a brother, John W. Daughtry.

Survivors include his children: a daughter, Dianne Daughtry of Statesboro; a son and daughter-in-law, Franklin and Sandy Daughtry, Camden, S.C.; three grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, four sisters, Dorothy Zetterower, Portal, Ruby Barnes, Statesboro, Betty Finch, Portal, and Grace Beasley, Stilson; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening 6-8 p.m. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
