STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Pansy L. Tuttle Allen, age 79, died Saturday, June 7th, 2014, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after a short illness. Mrs. Allen was a native of Blaine, Montana, but had lived in Statesboro most of her life. She was retired from Brooks Instrument Division and was a member of Pittman Park United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Barney L. Allen Sr. of Statesboro; one son and daughter-in-law, Barney and Blenda Allen Jr. of Statesboro; two grandsons, Brent and Blake Allen; a sister and brother-in-law, Norma Jean and Maurice Griswald of Bedford, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Tina Tuttle of Oregon.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday morning, June 11th, at 10 a.m. at Pittman Park United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Bagwell officiating. Burial will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Active pallbearers will be Dale Lowery, Hal Gay, Don Allen Jr., Dennis Allen, Tommy Burke and Jason Bolton.
