STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mrs. Fannie Mae Martin Joyce passed away on Saturday morning, April 28th, at Heritage Inn Health and Rehabilitation, under the excellent care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was a native of Bulloch County and a member of Thomas Grove Baptist Church. She was retired.

She was preceded in death by her children, Benjamin "BJ" Hardin and Annette Hardin Williams; and is survived by one sister, Dorothy Ware, Washington, D.C.; one brother, Bobby (Mary) Martin, Statesboro; a niece she owned as her daughter, Joanne Pendarvis, San Diego, Calif.; caretaker, Betty Drummer, Statesboro; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mrs. Joyce will be held on Saturday, May 5th, at 1 p.m. at Thomas Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Julius Abraham officiating. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
