STATESBORO, Ga. -- Mr. Kenneth Mincey passed away on Wednesday evening, May 2nd, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah after an extended illness. He was a native of Bulloch County, a retired truck driver and a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was a graduate of William James High School class of 1970.

He is survived by his wife, Katie Mincey, Statesboro; one daughter, Latonia (Timothy) Wells, Statesboro; two sons, Andre (Lisa) Clark, Metter, Ga., and Kenneth Wayne Mincey Jr., Washington, D.C.; four sisters, Brenda Gail (Edward) Darden, Cutler Bay, Fla., LaBlanche Hagins, Renea Taylor and Lametrius Omoniyo, all of Statesboro; three brothers, Donnell (Wyomie) Mincey, Joe Louis Hagins Jr. and Demetrius Hagins, all of Statesboro; a sister-in-law, Debra Jennings, South Bend, Ind.; two brothers-in-law, Kenny Clark, Levittown, Pa., and Ernest (Monica) Clark, South Bend, Ind.; special nieces and nephews, Nakia (Renarda) Hagins, Statesboro, LaShonda (Jemitrius) Fears, Ft. Lee, Va., and Vadule Bass, Statesboro; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mr. Mincey will be held on Saturday, May 12th, at 1 p.m. at Agape Worship Center with Elder Donald Chavers officiating. Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive family and friends on Friday evening from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
