Wyatt Parker Lanier, age 17, of Suwanee, Ga., died suddenly on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Wyatt was born in Tucker, Ga., and a lifelong resident of the Atlanta area. He was a student at the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology and a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Wyatt is survived by his parents, Harold Lanier Jr. and Paula Lanier, Suwanee, Ga., and Jim and Linnie Lewis, Statesboro; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Dwight and Heather Lanier, North Carolina, and Zach Lanier, Oakwood; one sister, Amber Anneshensley, Suwanee; grandparents, Harold Lanier Sr. and Hazel Lanier, Statesboro, and Myra Hendrix, Statesboro; step grandparents, Jerry and Sherry McDaniel, Buford; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends Saturday, December 8, 2012, from 3-8 p.m. at Hamilton Mill Chapel in Suwanee, Ga.
The funeral Service will be held Sunday, December 9, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church, Suwanee, Ga., with the Rev. Steve Pritchett officiating.
The graveside funeral service and burial will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at 2 p.m. in Clito Baptist Church Cemetery in Statesboro, Ga.
